The Conference site – Castle of the Prince Elector

The "Kurfürstliches Schloß" (Castle of the Prince Elector) combines tradition and modern technology: It is both a magnificent historical site, and a modern convention centre. Having been constructed in the early 17th century, the building is considered one of the most beautiful renaissance palaces in Germany. It was in this building that the first democratic constitution in Germany was established in 1792 – the "Republic of Mainz". Today national and international events are held in the seven recently renovated rooms. The interior design is functional and comfortable and at the same time conserves the unique historical flair. Modern communication equipment meets all present day requirements. This building is listed as being under conservation by the UNESCO.

Situated in the heart of the city centre of Mainz, the "Kurfürstliches Schloß" is within easy reach.
